How to report a crypto scam in the UAE
In the UAE you can report online fraud through the Dubai Police eCrime platform or at any police station.
Where to report
- Dubai: the Dubai Police eCrime platform (ecrime.ae), or any Dubai police station.
- Abu Dhabi and other emirates: your local police station, or the police force's official app or website.
Report as soon as you can, and say clearly that it is online fraud involving cryptocurrency.
What to bring
- Your Emirates ID or passport.
- Your evidence pack or, at least, the transaction hashes and wallet addresses.
- Screenshots of messages and of the website or app the scammer used.

After reporting
Keep your report number. Add it to your freeze requests to exchanges and issuers.
