Warning: people who promise to get your crypto back for a fee are almost always scammers. Check a recovery service

Privacy policy

We collect as little as we can, never sell it, and you can delete your data at any time.

This policy is a draft. Our legal partner, Al Kabban & Associates, is checking it against the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and the GDPR before launch. The operating company's name and address will be added here.

The short version

  • We only ask for what we need to trace your money and warn you when it moves.
  • We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.
  • Anyone with your case link can see the trace, so share it only with people you trust, such as the police or your lawyer.
  • You can delete your data at any time.

What we collect

What When Why
Your email address When you start a trace or sign in To send you alerts, a link back to your case and sign-in links, and to apply the free daily limit. You can turn email alerts off on your account page
Your Telegram chat or WhatsApp number (optional) If you connect them for alerts To send you alerts there. Disconnect them at any time on your account page
Wallet addresses and transaction IDs When you start a trace To follow the money. This is public blockchain data
The amount you lost (optional) When you start a trace For your own records and your letters
Scam reports When you report a scammer To warn other people. We keep a scrambled code instead of your email, and what you write under "What happened" is never shown
Technical logs (such as IP address) When you use the site To keep the service secure and working. Kept by our hosting provider for a short time

What you type into a freeze letter (your name, address, police report number) stays in your browser, unless you buy the Complete pack and ask us to send the letters for you. Then we send the letter text to the companies you choose, with you copied, and keep a record of which company and address each letter went to, but not the letter itself.

Who we share it with

  • Blockchain data services (Etherscan, TronGrid, mempool.space and Solana's public servers) receive the wallet addresses and transaction IDs we look up. They never receive your email.
  • Telegram or WhatsApp (Meta) deliver alerts to you there, if you connect them.
  • Our email provider sends your alerts, so it receives your email address and the alert text. If you ask us to send freeze letters, it also receives those letters.
  • Exchanges and stablecoin companies receive the freeze letters you ask us to send, in your name.
  • Lemon Squeezy, our payment reseller, if you buy a document. It receives your payment details and email; we never see your card.
  • Our hosting provider stores the data on our behalf.
  • A law firm, only if you choose to email one from your case page. You send that email yourself.
  • Police or a court, only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your case until you delete it. Scam reports are kept to warn others, but you can ask us to remove yours, and we hide any report that turns out to be false.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and you can object to how we use it. Use delete my data, or the delete button at the bottom of your case page. You can also complain to a data protection regulator: the UAE Data Office, the UK Information Commissioner's Office, or the regulator in your EU country.

We only use cookies and browser storage that the site needs to work. See our cookie policy.
